ROTWARA - Annual General Meeting
The Rats of Tobruk WA Remembrance Assoc. committee would like to invite members, families and Rat of Tobruk interested public to join us at our 2nd Annual General Meeting on Sunday 27th October 2024 starting at 1.30pm.
We will be having a interesting guest speaker to address the meeting before we start our meeting, please arrive early.
We would love to see you at this meeting and join us
for a chat and lite refreshments after our meeting.

We have hired a meeting room at the Royal Australian Air Force Assoc.(RAAFA) Memorial Hall, 2 Bull Creek Drive, Bull Creek. Please see map.

Our Agenda
The 2023/24 ROTWARA President and Treasurer will be presenting their annual reports and a general report on how ROTWARA is processing.
The current committee will be standing down and a new 2024/25 committee will be elected by the financial members.
Any 2023/24 committee member
can re stand for a 2024/25 committee position.
We are looking for and would love to see new members join us on our committee to help us move forward with new ideas and assistance. Please consider joining our friendly group.
ROTWARA GENERAL MEETING - 18th AUGUST 2024
Welcome!
The Rats of Tobruk WA Remembrance Assoc.’s next General Meeting is coming up on Sunday 18th August 2024 at RAAFA in Bull Creek WA.
We are honoured to have Captain Gary Lawton RAN as our Guest Speaker. Capt. Gary Lawton has spent a long service on submarines, firstly the Royal Navy, and then Royal Australian Navy, and a three year deployment as Commanding Officer of HMAS Stirling. Gary said his grandfather was in the Royal Navy serving in the Mediterranean in 1942, and has the dubious honour of having been on two ships which were sunk in the ensuing warfare.
We think Gary will be a very entertaining speaker reflecting on his 38 years in the two navies, RN and RAN and is happy to have a questions and answers session on all things Naval.
We look forward to seeing you and your friends on Sunday and enjoy the afternoon with our members and friends. Afternoon tea will be supplied.

Parking limited due to construction. Please park in main parking area and walk to Village Hall. It is possible to drop people off at hall and then park your vehicle in main car park. (See map)

Our Story
The Rats of Tobruk WA Remembrance Assoc. became an incorporated "Not for Profit" association on the 5th October, 2023 . We are a small group of descendants and interested people who are keen to set up this association in remembrance of our "Rats of Tobruk" soldiers.
We meet every three months to share our family stories, get updated on coming events, have guest speakers when available and enjoy a cuppa and chat with like minded friends.
